What we store

Your account. Your name, email address, and — if you signed up with a password — a hash of that password. We never store the password itself. If you signed in with Google, we store the account identifier Google gives us and the profile picture URL, not your Google password.

Your résumés. Everything you type into one: your contact details, work history, education, skills, any photo you upload, and the design choices you make. We also keep a short history of earlier versions so you can restore one, and we keep the job descriptions you paste in when you tailor a résumé for a role.

Files you import. When you upload a PDF or DOCX, we store the file and the text we extract from it long enough to build a résumé from it.

A record of AI use. For each AI request we record who made it, which model answered, how many tokens it used, how long it took, and whether it succeeded. We do not store the contents of those requests separately from your résumé.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use your résumé to train any model. There is no advertising or third-party analytics on this site.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and database providers hold the data on our behalf in order to run the service.

The AI provider receives the parts of your résumé relevant to a request when you use an AI feature — and only when you ask for one. If you supply your own API key in settings, your requests go to your provider under your own account and terms instead of ours.

Anyone you give a share link to. A résumé you share becomes readable by anyone holding that link, until you turn sharing off.

Your own API key

If you add a key for Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or xAI, we encrypt it before storing it and it is never shown again — the settings page displays only its last four characters, and there is no way for anyone, including us, to read it back through the product. Remove it at any time and we delete it.

How long we keep it

Your résumés stay until you delete them or delete your account. Deleting your account deletes your résumés, their version history, your uploads, your saved jobs and your stored API key along with it.

What you can ask for

You can export any résumé as a PDF at any time, delete any résumé, and ask us to delete your account entirely. To ask for a copy of your data or its deletion, write to us at the address below.

Cookies

We set one cookie to keep you signed in and one to remember your language. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
